On a peripheral note, I have long wished that our cheerleaders and pom squad would work harder and together so that we didn't have 3 different areas of Moody in a Dee-fence chant on different beats. If they have to get up with handheld cards for a game or so until the fan base can easily coordinate then so be it. Maybe all should look to one area or person who will be in charge of the tempo.

With a full Moody it would be fun to get a back and forth (opposing side of the stands) going with Larry...then Brown from the other side. Just seems like we are moving in to the big(ger) leagues in basketball and our ability to pull off varied and well timed cheers/chants is lacking.

Another picky note, I found it funny all of moody would be chanting D-FENSE but the cheerleaders were doing a completely different cheer. Why not abandon their cheer and joining in? Maybe they can't here what everyone else is doing while screaming their loudest?

ponydawg, I agree. They seem to be insistent on doing whatever cheer it is that "they", not necessarily what the rest of the building, want. Overall, I think they rather ineffective job at their job.

Obviously. Way too robotic. Lose the freakin' bows and get with it. BTW, if you're not gonna toss at least 100 - 200 t-shirts into the stands, forget it. Throwing out a dozen is really weak. Find a sponsor, I'll print the shirts.

Not sure if any of you noticed this, but from 200 we could see one of them throw a couple into the sea of Memphis blue behind the Memphis bench. One of the Memphis fans caught one and was laughing at how stupid that was with his buddies.
