Re: And SMU steals a 3rd recruit from Army
The title of this post is really not accurate.
Re: And SMU steals a 3rd recruit from Army
Army over the past 3 years is 3-9, 2-9, and 3-9. And we are stealing recruits from them. Is this really a formula for success?

True, we didn't steal these recruits from Army. They were kicked off of Army's Prep Team.

Is there any way we can check & see if Air Force & Navy kicked anyone off their team that might be a fit here
?
I always thought they had better programs than Army.
Regardless, this kid seems to be the best prospect of the Army preps.

I believe Army may have originally recruited them.

Army is 3rd in the nation on the ground. 309 yds avg.
SMU is 8th in the nation on the air. 341 yds avg.
I only see a pattern.

This is getting funny.

5'11" 200 and runs a 4.46. We can definitely use his speed in our secondary if he's any good

I'm only looking at the positives out of all of this. I got tired of being negative and a downer about this recruiting class so I'm just going to give these kids a shot to impress me.
I think it is a great idea to add power running game to the offense. Regardless of what June has played before, this may be a first and maybe the final key in him coming up with an effective offense that can run well with lower quality talent.

Of the football players who were recently separated from USMAPS, he was the biggest loss on the defensive side of the ball.
