Strangely, isnt the triple option more true to run 'n shoot principles than the RnS is? Use an unusual scheme to create mismatches and get the most out of inferior talent. In the 80s it was throwing against the run oriented defenses. In 10s it is running against the pass oriented defenses.

UCF ran 255 yards on Baylor and kept them off the field, which was critical in securing that win. In our last game vs. UCF, we managed the clock well and kept their offense off the field. Sadly, our running game was not up to par and we could not come away with scoring more.

Running will be critical, and it is what could have given us a W against UCF, Cincinnati and possibly helped us score vs. Houston when we lost GG and had to start Neal. I will be glad if SMU does start running the ball more.

Rotary (with a dialing wand)... touch tones confuse him and cause him to try to dial out the tunes to songs from musicals by Rodgers and Hammerstein. It's still better than June who thinks that just thinking about a kid equals recruiting him.
