Nate Gaines(2nd best recruit in the class) will help defense

Postby Rebel10 » Tue Feb 04, 2014 5:21 pm

Has a BCS offer from Purdue and other FCS offers. The more I see his film the more I like him. I just hope the coaches are staying on him and not taking a laid back approach because Purdue nor the other schools will. Can't wait to see what he does in Mason's defensive secondary.

Definitely a Top 5 recruit in this class but I don't see him being a real contributor as a true freshman. Take a RS year and see if the new staff wants to do something with him.

Not unexpected since he has kept his options open the entire process. Down to Purdue and UTSA.

Mesquite Poteet DB Nate Gaines has decommitted from #SMU per @corbettsmithDMN, who confirmed through his coach.

He will realize what he has done when/IF* he graduates and has a hard time finding a job with a UTSA degree.
You don't decommit from a top school in Texas to go to a commuter school.

So I guess you are saying he should go to Purdue? If he wants to be a coach he can find a job with a UTSA degree.

How many offers does the loss of Gaines represent relative to our total number of offers in this joke of a class?
