Now before anyone goes nuts and says I'm uninterested in offering top talent, that's not the case at all. But:
Players have different value in different systems. Go get players who fit your system and coach them.
Stars issued by a bunch of computer geeks mean nothing.
Whether they're local is irrelevant. Get the best players you can from anywhere and get them ready to play.
It's hilarious how this "stars mean nothing" bs always comes from fans of teams that can't get the elite players. The best coaches find ways to use elite talent, there's not a single elite recruit in the country that we couldn't use or that wouldn't fit better than any of our current players. Not surprising that a lot of players in the SB were 2 star or unranked since a small percentage of players in the entire country get ranked 3 stars or better.
Read the article below and say again with a straight face that stars mean nothing.
