Ha, Ha - SMU is losing recruits to UTSA now. We cannot recruit against BCS teams and now we are getting out recruited by low-rent commuter schools that recently started playing Div. 1 football. This program is sinking fast.

Well we signed 3-star Safety Courtland Sutton who had offers from BYU, Colorado, and Washington State, so that softens the blow of losing Gaines a little bit.

Gaines had some pretty nice offers including Utah and Purdue. I think he was getting close to double digit D1A offers.

TCU steals a player from A$M and we're crying over a guy who picked UTSA. Get over it. He wouldn't last at SMU.

He would have done well at SMU imo. And UCF stole a player from Alabama. Just curious what your point is?

SMU site has the highlights of him playing WR not DB. You have to wonder if that is where June will decide to play him.

but TCU lost the one they really wanted and would have put a cherry on top of a nice recruiting class. No. 1 5 Star OLM Braden Smith who signed with Auburn. His sister was on TCU Track team

The sister was also going to Auburn vet school
