He is the FB equivalent of Larry Brown.
He could win and pave the way for SMU to go to a P5 conference.
He's desperate so he wouldn't cost much but that mess at UNC (NCAA did clear him though) likely makes him a non-starter for RGT.

SMU would own the state of Texas again with Jimmy Johnson. Recruits would want to play for him. Fans would want to support him. National pub for SMU! Plus Jimmy Johnson already has name recognition in the state of Texas, especially Dallas given his time with the Cowboys. Why would he not want to show up Jerry Jones in Dallas and take SMU to national prominence?

I like your attitude. We need more fans like you and me. Blackout pony represents what keeps us at 5000 fans at football games. Thank god he hasn't infected our basketball program along with East Coast Mustang with that ugly arse pic of Herman Cain

yeeeeah.... it's our attitude that keeps our football attendance low and not the [deleted] poor performance by the team. Why is Moody constantly sold out? Give the fans something worth watching and they'll show up.

If the Trinity River were somehow transformed into the Florida Keys with climate and saltwater and fisihing and if Dallas were in the middle, then there might be a chance.

This. Basketball has proven that the SMU student body will follow you if you provide a great product worth watching. Larry Brown acts like a true leader and inspires the kids and fanbase. Football can be this way, and I believe we can pack Ford, but you need all the right things to happen at the same time. LB is doing it right. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Like Jimmy is gonna give up staying 5 days on his Florida Keys house boat, drinking Heineken, and 2 day work week at $1 million + to coach any college team.

Was about to write this (or some form of it). He has no reason to return.

Oh FTHP, you're such an [deleted] clown. Yeah, it's fans like me that flew halfway across the country 4 times last football season to go to games that keep people out of Ford. You've definitely got me pegged. Do you huff empty paint cans before you get on here or something?

StandUp is FTHP right? That's the only way I can comprehend an idea this completely idiotic being suggested.
Thanks for reminding me why I don't like this site as much as I used to.
