Goulbourne supposedly not signing

Apparently we're done at 24 and that includes no Goulbourne, who behind Gresham, was probably our second best recruit in the class. No idea why, because he was supposedly signing this morning. Maybe he's grey shirting, which wouldn't make any sense unless his injury is worse than what everyone thought, but he's not enrolling right now.

The joys of SMU football......

maybe injury AND grades ran off 20 teams. Wasn't his injury a broken foot-that is not fully healed I really don't understand why that would stop so many from offering. ACL is more worrisome it would seem

I guess he's grey shirting and enrolling next January, still seems really odd.

It's just a broken foot that is supposed to be fine.

Keep in mind, everybody has to be cleared by Dr. Baker when they come in for their visits, and he is as good as there is.

I really hope this kid makes it, but you don't want a Greg Oden situation.

EJ sent out a tweet that he did sign. He does mention a setback but apparently he's signed.

"@EJSports4: Cypress Bay (FL) WR Kadeem Gouldbourne has signed with #SMU. Was supposed to enroll early but suffered a setback."

Nope, he's being grey shirted and will (hopefully) be on campus in Jan 2015

He reported he signed, but apparently their was a misunderstanding as SMU has said he did not sign

There was some confusion on Goulbourne's part as he thought he would sign today as he told Rivals and Scout. But he is greyshirting.

we may be talking about 2 different kind of documents. Letter of Intent and then there is what I think they call a financial grant in aid. Did June discuss or even mention the recruit in news conference. I think if its a grant in aid then he can sign with another school-before August but not 100% sure?

All 4 players that did not sign the LOI's had multiple FCS offers.

He did not sign. June did not discuss at press conference today, however per rules, he can only discuss signees. No coach may discuss a kid who is not officially classified as student-athlete.
