I'm sure Deloss new his name was not " Del". Good gosh, TCU is being considered for B12 membership and I can assure you Deloss knows his name.

Sorry, but TCU got in because they were a competitive football program and more importantly the Big 12 lost 3 flagship teams ( NB, Mizzou, A&M) and were desperate for a member to keep it at 10.

Texas didn't want TCU but couldn't find a better replacement quickly. TCU wasn't expansion rather they were replacement.

Always wondered why B12 didn't take BYU over TCU- was it because of BYU's TV network?

TCU did a hell of a job with their football program over the past decade but I'm not sure what the value added was for the B12 adding them.

BYU was a way bigger value-add than TCU would ever be. Only thing is that BYU Network would not coexist with Longhorn network..

TCU was the next choice. If they would have gone to Big East then SMU was the next choice in Texas to sub Texas A&M
