TCU Outplaying OU Mid 2Q

Postby Stallion » Sat Sep 03, 2005 12:19 pm

TCU leading 7-0 and has about 150 Total Offense to 70 for OU with about 8:00 left in 2Q. Richuel's brother made a big play on a reverse. Remember TCU had a 3 TD lead on Tech last year before one of the biggest collapses in modern college football history.

nice drive by TCU and ends in a short FG TCU 10 OU 0 with about 7:00 left in 2Q. Total offense TCU 200 OU 80. Tye Gunn really makes TCU go.

If TCU is shutting down the #7 team in the country in Norman, can't imagine what wil happen when the Horned Frog nation invades Ford next weekend.

that first half was no fluke either. you could tell from the start that tcu was holding their own in the trenches. OU is not fired up for the game you could tell that and they are not the veteran team they were, but still.
