Myles is the #2 recruit in the country and I noticed Larry was still in contact with Myles in this video... surprise announcement coming??

One of the strangest recruitments I can remember. Still think he's waiting to see what happens with Embiid, but Turner to SMU wouldn't shock me at all.

Turner is a luxury for the team as constructed anyways. We have a much bigger need for a guard who can shoot and handle. Having two shooters off the bench next year would be huge (Frazier) and I hope Dominique Matthews is the guy we get to sign.

Talk about depth. That team is a legitimate 10 deep, preseason top 20 squad.

I am more interested in landing Turner for his prospects as a pro than for his contributions on the court at SMU. Having an all-star NBA player in our history would be great for recruiting.

And IMO, SMU is probably a pre season top 20, with or without an additional signing to Mudiay.
