I liked the comment by the fan blaming the loss on jet lag.
Do unto others before they do unto you!!

The main thing I took away from that story is what Cronin said. He mentioned that they didn't play well enough in the paint because they knew we only had a couple of guys who can shoot from the outside. More and more teams are going to start double the post and forcing us to beat them from the outside. Moving forward, Nick, Sterling and KF are going to have to continue to hit threes and show that they are a threat outside. We know Nic can do that.

Mike Cronin talking about SMU:

“You cannot go on the road in a tough environment and turn the ball over,” Cronin said. “There’s rules that we have to winning on the road. It’s why we’ve done so well…You cannot turn the ball over. If you turn the ball over and you play good teams on the road, you might as well gas up the plane and get home. We just got rattled. There’s no question about it. We didn’t show poise.”

Who would have ever thought that the coach from a top 10 team would say that about SMU and Moody?

You guys realize you can watch Cronin's post-game presser at Moody, right? lol, that's where the quotes are coming from, not an extremely interesting interview but better than most I thought

I like the quote which said they seemed to know where to go'....The players beat them to the spots. Good coaching and great performance.

Cronin is right in the fact that we need shooters. Dominique Matthews should be the main target for the other scholly for this year's recruiting class. He can shoot the lights out and his younger brother Charles is a 5 star guard in 2015.

I thought it was pretty good. I kinda like the guy; he's another coach I hope to see (and torment) on the opposing bench for years to come.

That is a good scouting report for sure.

It is not just shooting from the outside, it is players driving to the basket as well, and that from various spots on the outside. We saw that vs. Cincy.

When it comes to in-game coaching, Cronin seemed vastly superior to Pastner. On the other hand, Pastner won the press conference by miles. He did everything short of shaking hands and kissing babies.

give our guys open looks and we just might be surprised how well Nick Russell, Sterling Brown, Frazier, etc...can shoot from outside. Double and triple the big guys and watch this team play a little inside out ball. It's about sharing the ball and getting good shots with guys in position to follow. These guys are getting better and better at it. Some pretty impressive ball movement at times against Cincy
