Best part - the students hoisting Nic Moore on their shoulders. So cool. Why not and the guys really seemed to love it so that is all that matters.

Guys, can we please let this topic die? It happened. Regardless of your opinion, pro or con, it happened. We're frankly debating a "good problem". Those opposed generally see SMU as a school that has arrived and want to behave as such. Those in favor see it as a symbolic floodgate bursting to release years of losing. Regardless, both are good places to be. I understand both sides. Let it be. SMU has a program for us all to get behind.

Imagine how boring life would be if we were all so conservative as Pony fans. Com.

It's funny. While I'm normally 100% opposed to storming the court, it really was a special moment when that final buzzer sounded and all I felt was joy. If I was a student, I'd have been the first one on the court.

That said, I'm with Larry. It was great, but I'm glad we got it out our system.

Also, the look on Nic Moore's face when he was being lifted in the air was amazing. That alone made the court storming worth it.

I didn't like us storming the court. Felt it was more from so many years of frustration and beating a top 10 team after beating two other ranked teams. Shouldn't have happened against Cincy though ( overrated IMO). We should have beat them on their court. Glad we at least got it out of our system. We shouldn't do it unless we don't expect to win, and LB was clear he expects us to win.

If nothing else, the players deserved to feel the love of a stormed court.

It was a great way to show school unity and let them know how proud we are of our fellow mustangs.

I thought it was cool. If I were 20 years younger, I would have been out there with them.

SMU Police and the basketball staff/security actually came by The Mob couple minutes before the final buzzer and basically said "We're gonna let you storm the court, just let the other team get off". The staff even encouraged us to spread the word around

They definitely did not do that baseline. They weren't letting the kids go, so they came over the top of the floor seats.

Only because they knew it was coming and they wanted it done in an orderly way so nobody got hurt. HCLB doesn't raise the issue twice in his presser if he didn't mean it. Hope everyone enjoyed it. Moving on to bigger conquests.

Its ok..it WAS a big win for the program. We will learn to enjoy thses type of games in the future and storming the court won't be talked about much. Play like you have been there before....we will.
