Hello Pony Fans! For all these years (90)???? we have celebrated our rivalry in college football so I thought I would help to get us kicked off for this week's 2005 version. No doubt it has been a trying week for our entire country with the Gulf Coast hurricane and the devastation it brought with it. I am certainly proud of you Mustangs for taking in the Tulane team and helping them out. It shows what a class act that SMU and Conference USA really are. Speaking of CUSA, how does it feel to be acclimating to a new conference again. I think CUSA will be a great home for SMU. We at TCU are certainly not strangers to the "new conference experience" ourselves. We are looking forward to MWC action.
Now to the game! I haven't seen a line on it yet but I imagine my Frogs will be in the favorites roll this year. Anything can, and often does, happen in the TCU/SMU series so I wouldn't put too much emphasis on the pundits. Here's wishing you good luck against us Toads at least for a quarter or maybe a half anyway! If I were you guys and gals I would expect to see an absolute sea of purple at Ford Sat. night. Something is telling me that there will be lots and lots of Frogs in Dallas. Maybe you would like to buy us all a beer after the game? Or maybe not!

Good god... At this point, I think a lot us on this board right now have the attitude of 'WGAF', ya know? Come on over, spend your money, get your win and go back to Cowtown.

I can understand your frustration because I am old enough to remember when SMU and the Pony express used to just beat the crap out of us every year. I am hoping that things will get better for SMU. I think that most Frog fans want SMU to be our main rival and to be successful. Your entire season certainly does not hinge on one game lost to Baylor does it? Keep your chin up and let's hope for an entertaining and high spirited game Sat.

Of course it doesn't ride on that game. We're hacked off with the loss, but believe me, if we somehow get an upset Saturday, nobody will care about Baylor. (There's a punchline waiting to happen somewhere in that statement.) Here's hoping the little froggies think they're invincable after the OU upset and look ahead to Utah.

Congratulations on the win over OU! It shows our sorry administration what could be done.

Why the hell are we even bothering playing this game next Saturday? It's going to be on TV, too...just another example of SMU being embarrassed again and again.
Hey, Frogs...go ahead and take that iron skillet and fry up some eggs. 'Cause our season is over. Good night.
