After Mike did his "SMU needs to give up football" and referring to Mike Cavan as the Georgia State Trooper bit back in the late '90s, he started being really positive about SMU b.c he wanted his daughter to go to SMU instead of USC. He was really hoping that she would go to SMU.

He turned really positive on SMU around the turn of the millennium. His tweets were probably the best of anyone's on Saturday night at the game.

He has gone to games in 60's and 70's and when SMU ever does come up, I've always found his comments are sympathetic to SMU. He's a UTA and Kimball grad.

Ben and Skin did a nice 6 minutes on Smu, said everybody's phone was blowing up with texts and tweets. Ben or was it Skin(can't tell them apart on radio) said he was glued to his phone during Cincy game.

Skin is an Mavs TV announcer crew, sideline and color.
