What bump? How much? 2x, 10x? Donation?
Don't be surprised if this is where SMU lands soon. I bet they slow play it for a season or two to continue building the fan base, but within a few years you may not be able to get a nosebleed seat for less than $400; sidelines $10,000+.

We're a long, long way from that happening. Kentucky's highest priced individual seats only have a $5,000 donation attached plus the cost of the season ticket which is under $1,000. Also, only about 7,000 of their 23,500 seats have a required donation. The minimum donation level at Duke (Stadium Level in the "Iron Dukes") is around $7,000 per year just to get season tickets... but that's Duke. SMU needs to be a top tier program for about 20 years to think that we'd get anywhere close to that level of demand for season tickets... and we'd probably also need every metroplex pro franchise to go on about a 15 year slump just due to the prices people pay for their Cowboys and Mavs season tickets.

I mean no one is paying that much without a slew of banners hanging from the rafters; a NC, couple final fours, maybe 7 conference champs.

Don't disagree, but those are much larger arenas. Me and a local friend were looking into getting decent seats back at KU. Let's just say I was shocked at what it would cost to get enough Williams Fund points. Popular basketball tix get expensive fast. I could very well be wrong though.

The Loge seats at Moody require the purchaser to be at the $5,000 donation level to the Mustang Club. However, those donors can purchase up to 4 Loge seats at that donation level... which would mean that they basically donated $1,250 per seat plus the $750 per seat ticket cost ($2,000 per seat). Floor seats require the purchaser to be at the $2,500 donation level and also allow 4 tickets @ $750. So, it works out to $1,375 per seat. According to the FAQ's on NewMoody.com, someone already at the $5,000 level doesn't have to make another $5,000 donation to get Loge seats. So, it sounds like the seating areas available are based on what overall donation level you're at not just what you're willing to pay for basketball seats.

I thought about adding a couple of extra seats this year, but figured I'd wait one more year. Oops.
At least I've got my name on the "upgrade list" now... probably just gonna get crazier.

Is the Houston game sold out as well? The weekend game seems to be more of a draw.

Ok, so it's $8k for a four seat loge (stretched a bit when I said close to 10k). There are 4 loges that seat 6. That's $9500 (pretty close to 10k). I do like that the donation counts towards all sports, but $500 for 104 in FB ain't close to $5000 for loge or $2500 for club/floor.

Loge is between 100's and 200's on north side. They seat 4/6 and are semi-private with access to servers.

Thanks. I must be blind as I haven't noticed them. I'll look for them at the next game.
