Why don't we just wait and raise prices when we join the ACC? 8)

Now that would be awesome...Could you imagine playing Duke, North Carolina, Syracuse, Georgia Tech, NC State at Moody....Florida State, Miami, Clemson, Virginia Tech at Ford :)

Let's win big this week and keep gathering national kudos in the east coast especially!

I asked at the ticker office and it looks like we will pay Big 12 prices for Football. $250 plus 500 donation for 2014 compared to $99 and no donation for 2013. More reason for me to boulevard and then watch games at Barley house?

I actually don't think they will raise suit prices as those are actually over priced right now. Every other seat in moody is underpriced relative to the product. My guess is donation levels will stay the same but we will see a10-25% bump in ticket prices.

I find it personally ironic that I bought my season tickets for football years ago even though in am out of state because I thought it would be a difficult seat to get in the future. Did not begin to believe it would be basketball for which that need be done. Glad I went ahead and got them also.

I'll sell my car before I miss the Louisville game.

SUPPLY AND DEMAND

I PREDICT THEY ARE GOING TO RISE SIGNIFICANTLY

I understand simple econ  But what happens when the team sucks? Nobody is going to pay for the season tickets, then you gotta lower them all the way back down, people are used to paying 10 bucks a game again or having a hard time giving them away like last year. People don't like change and if you jerk them around enough, you'll lose them. There's a reason the Rangers don't charge a ton for lower level season tickets to season ticket holders, actually pretty cheap. They know they need the season ticket holders to stick with them when times are bad.

I think season tickets will move up only a trickle but see a big increase in single game tickets especially marquee games. When you have tickets going for 5-10x face value on the 2nd hand market, you can easily raise ticket prices with not much effect. ALL you are doing is taking money out of the scalpers pockets.

I will cancel my football tickets in order to afford the BBall tickets. I can pick up $10 football tickets on gameday and pretty much sit in one of any 20,000 empty seats.

Am sure I would not be the only one to do this. I bet Hart and Co. are going to wait until after Football tickets are due in order to announce new basketball prices (if they are smart).

I already paid for my 2014/2015 tickets. There was a noticeable increase, but nothing crazy. I even added extra to the Mustang Club donation so I hopefully won't have to worry about it when basketball renewal time rolls around.

Rise in basketball prices will have a negative affect on football ticket sales. I know basketball is where my money will go.

Was going to say the same thing. I will just give up my football tickets, buy end zone and sit in my same seats in 206. It's not like my same season tickets won't be available when we get good if that ever happens.

I am not as motivated as I have been in the past to support football.

Don't raise prices - force you to buy 1 FB season ticket for each hoops ticket at discounted prices. Allows us to project better numbers than exist for realignment purposes.
