is pure BS. i.e. look at our men's soccer. We have had a coach for over 6 yrs. now that has been unable to win at the highest level in spite of having substantial talent on the team. The prior coach consistently had teams that were nationally ranked. I know of at least several people that have suggested that a coaching change needs to be made but he refuses to take any action. IMO that is not positioning this program for 'championship success'.
I acknowledge your point about the men's soccer team. However, it wasn't Hart who ran off (arguably) the best collegiate soccer coach in America. He is the one, unfortunately, left with the task of fixing someone else's epic screw-up. I don't know what contract issues are involved, what budget is available or the discussions that may or may not be going on behind closed doors. With respect to the soccer team, you can't judge Hart on the state of that team, only on if and how it is corrected in the years to come.

Agreed, Hart got stuck with the current situation...none of this was of his doing. I have faith he will lead us to where we want to go.

Can I ask a favor? Can you simplify and answer how those same teams you listed (with comparable winning percentages) did OVERALL -- not just on the road -- against teams with winning records? In other words, what happens when you include our home winning percentage against teams with winning records?
In addition to Soccer, Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Teams hardly resemble the rich histories of both programs. Granted, Hart inherited the lack of a competitive swimming and diving facility, but to suggest that SMU is positioning these two sports for success is simply untrue. Public statements that we are actively planning for a replacement Natatorium is disingenuous to those of us who are close to the programs and understand the lack of progress for more than a dozen years, despite persistent efforts and substantial support from Friends of SMU Swimming.

They've been telling us they are building an Indoor Practice Facility for Football and other sports since 2011...now they say it will be built by 2015. For the natatorium, I would not hold my breath on it until they finish the Tennis courts and other facilities

I know if must have taken a long time. If you'll show me your method, ponyscott, I'll pull the data if that helps.
Overall winning percentage, maybe broken out by home versus road, against teams with winning records.

Serious question-Does soccer even full under the athletics department or is it under Meadows?

You'll get a lot of [deleted] for this, but I laughed.

We are the only D1 men's soccer school IN TEXAS...'nough said. I'm tired of drooling over our soccer program--it was under-achieving even when Hyndman was here.

And with our coach the aggie's womens team would kick their butts.
BTW- webmaster- yes, casper inherited a bad situation but after two seasons has still failed to correct it. Also, I doubt if there is a buyout for TMc like their is for the tiki bum.

Sorry little ponyboy....you embarrass yourself with every continual weak [deleted] post about your idol JJ ...or just sports for that matter that we see from you. You have absolutely no clue about sports in general and it's just piling on to even reply to you.
