You're giving SMU 11 more points than you allowed the Sooners? Sellout? No way. There won't be another sellout at Ford until Texas Tech returns or the Aggies arrive.

Where are all the Froggies and their 'smack'? Last year, at this time, we had heard from them starting after the spring game all the way up until the 44-0 drubbing.
I honestly think most TCU fans just look at this as another game - and one that we should win. The first thing we started talking about on the way back from OU was how many people we would bring to SMU. I don't expect a blowout but I think we will win by a couple TDs if we don't get too conservative (as Patterson will do at times). I don't necessarily think we are looking past SMU or we think we can just show up and win (I know I don't)...it's just that we are excited about the Utah game and we aren't excited about the SMU game. I wish it weren't so...
I'll go with 27-10.

There will definitely be purple at the game.
When I see you next time round in sorrow
Will you know what I been going through
My yesterdays have melted with my tomorrow
And the present leaves me with no point of view

I'm sure you will see plenty of red on the Blvd. Oh wait, we don't wear our school color. I'm sure you'll see plenty of designer labels on the Blvd. before the game and well into the first quarter. After that you'll have to go to the various bars in Dallas to see the SMU "fans".
The sad thing is even during Homecoming when we know that 90% of the people in the stadium are there to "cheer" for SMU and we play a scrub school that brings 1,000 people it looks like the stadium is half and half because they wear their school color and SMU "fans" don't.
I'm going to guess that the Baylor game was 65% SMU, 35% Baylor, but beacuse every damn Baylor fan was wearing green it looked like 70% 30% Baylor. And then you have the idiot SMU fans who wear green. One of the girls I invited wore green and I asked her what the hell she was doing, she exclaimed, "oh, I didn't think about that". It's a deep problem with our fan base and nothing will change that. We like having hot chicks but they are not the brighest nor the most spirited.

there are about one thousand problems at SMU worse than what color our fans wear. The color of your shirt doesn't keep you from getting off your [deleted] in the second half when your team is trying beat a rival.

I agree it shouldn't keep people from cheering during critical points in the game, but these go hand in hand. How freakin hard is it to throw something red on, people should want to do it. Just like how hard is it to stand up and clap your hands. These people are AT A FOOTBALL GAME, so it's not like they weren't prepared for the mysterious ritual. I think these are both a statement of SMU spirit, which is non existent.

I think it's great that TCU beat OU @ Norman.
If the motivation of playing your #1 rival, who just knocked off one of the top programs in the nation, can't get you fired up as a player, then you have no pulse.
I believe this team will step up Sat Nite & play at a higher level than we've seen in several seasons.
