Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! I was bitchin' when it happened. I was telling everyone around me that this will haunt us. If Baylor would kick a field goal it was the same as tying the game. Well it did come back to haunt us and throw in a few more stupid calls like Eckert back in later on when we get the ball at the 20 and you have a guy that can't coach a football team. He may be a defensive wizard but the concept of how to coach a game is beyond Phil's grasp.

Oh yeah, who the heck is responsible for the special teams as well. 2 blocked kicks is not acceptable when the block comes from the corner.

You know, when the offense came in... I said to my compadres - "don't worry, it's a squib kick. Brilliant move, because, check it out [I pointed] baylor isn't gonna' know what hit 'em"...

But, alas I was wrong.

"Squib kick" is the wrong term, but I was refering to those type of punts that we used to have Phillips run. Usually I prefer the full on punt team, but, man, I was certain that that's what he was doing. And maybe going for it wasn't a totally bonehead idea, but c'mon?!? You bring in Romo and two backs, let Baylor think run all the way, and then have Kennedy fake a run block and hit him over the middle.

Anyway, that's my two cents on the matter.
