SMU big men

What is the story on Moriera? I thought he was coming back but I don't think I saw him last night. Maybe this has already been discussed, but I couldn't find another thread.

Also, Cannen Cunningham has been terrific. Especially as Markus seems to have slumped a bit. And he's a Doh recruit to boot. . . a real asset for this team.

Moreira played about 2-3 minutes last night and made 2 free throws after getting fouled on a rebound. He does not appear to be 100% - who knows if he will be at any point this season.

Agree with you on Cannen - I really like the way he has played lately. I watched the ESPN replay of last night's game and he defended Thomas very well in the second half. On offense, he has developed a nice mid-range jumper. He and Markus are good complementary big men.

With one more year left, hopefully he continues to develop.

Moreria looked a lot better to me running the Court. In prior games he looked like every step was painful or unsure. Larry said he's ready to perform in his post game-just not sure how to juggle big men.

I agree he looked much better last night, but they did sit him pretty quickly. Hopefully they are easing him back in.
