No one seems to be talking about Texas. Are they out of the mix?

I believe they're solidly in the mix, if not the favorite. If I remember correctly Myles once said he was saving his last official visit for Austin.

I consider the Frank Erwin Center as a similar cemetery to Houston's bball stadium. Rarely full, too big, terrible sight lines. All Horns fans would agree. Awful place to watch a game. But, damn…it doesn't get much better than Austin, TX

He needs to take an official to SMU, call the other teams and let them know he is not interested, and get this ovee with!

I lived in Austin for several years. That's spot on

I think putting Ben Moore at the 3 would be a good idea as well.

I agree now. I would not have if it were not for the Cincy game.

No (well depending on the matchup) but we could use his length at the 3.

Does Ben Moore have the outside shot required of a 3? That's an important skill in a 3 as without having to respect a 15+ foot jump shot, the defense can collapse in and deny the interior game.

He can't defend off the bounce at the 3, I don't think. All his advanced hoops life, he has guarded guys who strictly face. he's also a long strider

I agree with this, but the other day I was curious about him and went to read what articles said about him when he signed. I did not see much from analysts that stuck out, but his coach (aau I believe) claimed he could defend 1-4 at college. Obviously have to take it with a grain of salt, but he put it out there. Actually there was one analyst that mentioned how much he had progressed from his junior to senior year as he grew into his height. I think we have seen that continue.

I agree as well, there's room to improve big time. But he's the most versatile out of the bigs and he does have a nice jumper. It would take a solid summer's worth of work but I think he can be a stretch 3. I'm not asking him to be a 3 point threat, I'm asking him to be a jump shooter that provides length and I think he does that. I don't think anyone has seen him defend on the perimeter but he's pretty athletic so it wouldn't surprise me if he can play a stretch 3.
