all this program (and Coach Tubbs) needs is for one top area big man to lead the way and decide he wants to be the 2nd coming of Ira Terrell and the excitement will return to Moody. For those old enough to remember, SMU dominated SWC hoops under Doc Hayes in the 60's and with recruiting success in Dallas, SMU could be right up there competing with Memphis for CUSA titles under Tubbs. We already have a quality point guard to feed the big man in the low post. Let's face it...you can turn a hoops program around with 3 quality guys. At least it looks like Coach Tubbs will be in on Darrell right up until signing day.

I'm hearing that DA is all but signed with Kansas. I can't figure out why, with all of those forwards they've got up there. Not everybody is going to play the 3, Julian Wright, Brandon Rush and Micha Downs. If Bill Self is promising instant playing time, he's a bold faced liar. Kansas is Forward U and if the Jayhawks can lure another forward in then I've got to give them there props. Pretty Slick recruiting.

I think Rush is pretty set on jumping to the NBA as soon as possible. He will likely try to make the leap again next year.

I read something the other day where Arthur himself said he expects to play the 4 early in college but he wants to improve his game to where he can eventually play the 3 more but right now he said he is better suited for the 4.

Micah Downs tested the water with the draft, and Julian Wright was a predicted top 10-20 pick, so these guys could be gone with rush after next year, who knows? But if they all stay,

A Kansas insider told me they like their chances at Arthur, but they don't consider him wrapped up, by any means. We're still alive.

Hmmmm .... we need Coach Tubbs to come in right after Coach Self. Let's hope Coach Self doesn't seal the deal.
