Let's get out, in red and support this team...it could surprise us and we would be the ones to suffer if we missed it!

at this point, I just hope its "nuetral". With an 8:30 start and the UT-Ohio State game on tv at the same time, who do you think that will discourage more from coming out? The rabid TCU fans after beating OU, or SMU fans? Lookout.

all in purple, it will the be 62-7 debacle from 2000 where they decide to have the game on Thanksgiving break. The only people that showed up were dressed in purple, from the band, cheer, and some SMU parents. God what a horrible night that was.

On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

I'm surprised that Copeland didn't try to move the game to Shreveport.

And don't forget it rained, too. I was at that game. This game is my least favorite memory of Ford Stadium of all time. TCU had already accepted its bowl bid. Fran was auditioning for the Alabama job. The TCU fans had a great time. I think Copeland had already said Cavan's job was safe. It was a disaster.
Attendance could have been much worse. I know several people that went just because they had season tickets as it was the first year of Ford. None of those people have season tickets anymore.

I have a hazy recollection of the 2000 game. I went after a good afternoon at the boulevard. Got in a fight with some former TCU rugby players and lasted through about the third quarter.
Would have been the worst experience at Ford by far...if I hadn't been for LT's performance. That was pretty amazing to watch no matter who you were cheering for.

That's like Ricky William's last game against TAMU. A&M was dreadful. Everyone loves to watch a great running back beat little to no competition. Why? LT is great, but I prefer to watch him beating good teams. The same goes for Ricky.

I remember that game. It was only 3-0 after the first quarter and I thought we had a fight on our hands. Then LT tore off that 74 yard TD and the snowball started to roll down hill.
The greatest thing of all (for Frog fans of course) was when, right after SMU finally scored to pull within 48 points, LaTerrance Dunbar took the ensuing kickoff 103 yards for a TD.
Man, that was a great game...
