Zack Sledge is starting at QB.
No, most of the stuff we already knew. He talked about depth, about how Baylor went 10 deep on the o-line. Talked about all the missed tackles at the end of the game. No bombs or anything...

No mention of Phillips I assume? Still wonder if he is sick, injured, in the dog house or if the coaches are just trying to protect his confidence early in the season.
Based everything we know about his ability, his play in the past and in the spring game, its just impossible to believe that he is so inferior to Romo and Eckert in practice.

Coach did briefly mention Phillips at this morning's breakfast. He said Chris remains committed to the football team, but is still the third option this week.

Nothing about Phillips in the radio interview. He spoke about the composure of Gunn at OU vs. our QBs falling apart a bit against Baylor. Said composure this week would be really important at the QB position.

so if Romo were to get injured or his bell rung on Saturday, it would be Eckert off the bench? That makes no sense to me because Bennett said in the paper that the reason for going with Romo was we really needed mobility against TCU. That tells me if Romo goes down, we are basically giving up on the game rather than play Phillips. Wow, thats quite a statement.
