The entire west end zone, by the band, was filled w student athletes. They were OK fans but not great. Noticed the football players in the bunch barely had a pulse. Great win Mustangs!

Its mardi gras. Entire fraternities were missing today. But I heard there was a huge group of students all watching the game in a bar down there

Was at a bar in MGM Grand Las Vegas and people from Dallas sat around and cheered the Mustangs. How far we have come. Proud of our 'stangs!

Larry DID baste the students pretty good on the post game show. Said he didn't care if the weather was great or not, the students should have been there with full support. This was actually the most down I have ever heard him speak. I guess when you have so many greeks in the student body and everyone leaves...it does make a big whole that IS noticeable.

Mardi Gras is the excuse? Those who care more about partying than supporting their top-25 basketball program should lose ticket privileges for 10 years.

To be fair some may have had traveling plans before the season started. Wednesday will be rocking.

I think you only get a couple chances to go to a big party like mardi gras during college, we were playing a game that had pretty much no hype. I dont blame anyone for going to nola this weekend. That being said I was at the game today

Sorry but I have given the students credit all year (deservedly) but this should be called out.

1) Glad you were there 2) Mardi Gras is fun but you can do that after college too (and can be a great pledge class reunion, etc.). Student section is in college only.
