Indiana isn't that good this year so a win there may not help them that much.

Actually, Iowa has lost their last 3 games. If the Hawkeyes are still in the Top 25, I would be shocked.

Every top 25 team lost. SMU will move up 5-6 spots. It will have minimal effect on seeding however. The top 25 is a poll of who's hot at the moment. Just like UNC will probably jump up to #12 or 13 even though they will sit on the 5 line. Beat Louisville, then deep run in the conference tourney could really put the heat on the selection committee for a top 3 seed.

I really wish Louisville hadn't lost. It would be better if they didn't come to town already angry.

Biggest game in … 20 years? 30 years?

Agreed, it's gonna probably take Smu winning out to force a 3 seed, but I believe winning out will probably do it. Hell winning out Including conference tourney might even squeeze a two seed...Can't wait ..

Angry has nothing to do with it. Memphis deflated them and SMU has a chance to take more air out of them. UConn lost to Houston before they played SMU and we beat them. Look, at this point in the season we should be trying to win a conference championship and not wanting teams in head of us winning. If Louisville had beaten Memphis we would not have had a shot at the conference championship now we do. Let's not have a losers mentality. The game is only big because now we can win the AAC regular season title due to Memphis beating them. As far as rankings are concerned Cincinnati was a bigger game. Beat Louisville.
