So jealous-I can taste dog and beer now, I hope the crowd really shows our team so love and helps us close out the year undefeated at home.

He wants us to be on the level of Kansas, Duke, UNC etc. If he doesn't constantly demand that level from all aspects of our program we will never get there. Just like we have no problem with him calling out the team for lackluster effort in a 15 point win, we shouldn't tell him to lighten up when we don't bring the energy as fans either. Allen fieldhouse, Cameron etc are always rocking no matter who is in town. We won't get there unless he constantly demands it from us.

Its a slap in the face not to get there early if they honor the seniors before the game

I live 300 plus miles away and plan on being there by 5 pm. Getting my son out of school before noon and allowing him to miss next day so we can make the drive up and be there. Haven't missed but one game yet and even then made sure tickets got to another SMU fan to enjoy.

Like others have said, us out of towners are envious of those of you who are local. Just work thru lunch and leave work that hour early you gave your employer by not taking lunch and get there. There is food and beer at Moody.

After 30 years of bad football and basketball this is special thing we all need to enjoy while it lasts.

The schools you mention are all elite ball school with years of winning tradition, national championships, etc, etc. When LB gets us to a final four or wins a championship' then he can [deleted] a little more - so far, we haven't won anything although this has been the greatest season in any SMU sports in the last 30 years and clearly the SMU community is embracing LB and the team mode than they have any coach or program. LB also got a lot less criticism when he lost two games to two of the worst programs in the conference than coaches would have at the programs he always mentions...........

You have to think it's gonna be a late arriving crowd and there is not other way around it.

Just a thought, but with the momentum of the program and how much recognition it has received lately... if you told a supervisor "I have tickets to SMU-Louisville tonight and need to leave early", they would probably respond "What in the hell are you still here for? Get to the game".

I know I let people out early for stuff like that because it pays off in the long run.

How many alums really have a "supervisor" that they need to ask for permission if they can leave an hour early?

The young ones less than 5 years out. Need to show patience for those that do.
It makes sense to me.

Rightly so, my wife and I live over an hour and a half away, we are always in our seats at least 30 minutes to an hour before tip off. LB is exactly right.

No kidding. There are a lot of people who need to plan ahead to be somewhere by 6. Could be very senior but they are in the habit of working well past 6 and need to let their colleagues know they are out that night.
