A friend of mine always ask me about that. For those who took advantage of the promo, well done.

I already had season tickets. I should have bought two. I get more people asking to go and could have used or sold those. I knew it would be a good deal but if I had bought I am sure that would have jinxed us so I am glad I didn't.

Yeah. My 4 years at SMU we were ranked in Football, basketball, won an indoor track championship, were ranked in men and women's tennis, ranked in men and women's swimming and I played on a ranked SMU soccer team.

I really thought it would always be like that for SMU athletics and the death penalty happened my senior year. Everything went to hell and our leadership threw in the towel in sports.

This has been the lifeline SMU athletics needed to slow it can be done. I honesty had pretty much given up, though I still went to games.

You don't know how bad it is when all your friends are UT Tech TCU and A T M and you have to put up with being irrelevant in sports and just surviving on memories being good before some friends were even born.

Probably blows living that close amongst one another too, everyone is probably intertwined. What I can't believe is that there are actually Tech fans

I guess North Carolina bball is probably similar with NCST, UNC, and Duke all being that close.

It was great when we were all in the SWC; the rivalries were super intense and fun. It was great to be so small yet still kicking UTs [deleted].

The only reason there are Tech fans is there had to be a college for the bottom quarter of High School students to go. Lubbock is a miserable place to have to live.

For an undefeated season they should let them roll over.
