[quote="ponyte"]This is over 3 years old. I doubt anyone, including Petrino remembers his 15 seconds of fame or his down the leg experience. Pitino people. Rick Pitino. Don't know if you got confused with football coach Bobby Petrino or what, but we're talking about Rick Pitino.

Agree to disagree PonyScott. When you publicly humiliate yourself by cheating on your wife, that's fair game.

Agreed. Pitino will be a great ally if ACC were to consider adding SMU. He has already been talking LB and SMU up.

Sorry guys Pitino...spell check is out. I am sorry but whatever he did that was inapproriate with a woman in the past, isn't fair game at a family attended college event, nor would it be classy. Just try explaining whatever Pitino 'down your leg', '15 seconds' chant to your youngins....c'mon really?

If students do this, SMU forfeits the right to call any fanbase "classless" again for at least the next 25 years.
Squirrels = greatness This crap = classless bs.

This actually reminds me of that old song from a very young Motley Crue "10 Seconds to Love"

Want to know what's classless? Rick Pitino.
Not that big of a deal people. It's a college basketball game. I'm sure he hears it at every stadium he goes to.

Which is all the more reason to do something different. It's kind of lowbrow and very old news, IMO. Be creative. The squirrel idea is genius and not common knowledge as far as I know. That's Sportcenter worthy type heckling.

We need to do something to show our support for our only two seniors, Nick Russell and Shawn Williams, regardless of the outcome of the game. If MOB members could make signs and organize chants for them that would be great.

I like all of it, but it does seem a little cheap to me. Who knows, if I were a student, and the game is tight and he starts acting like an [deleted] maybe you yell out something. But, generally, I like to keep it to the basics. "S-M-U!" . . . "Deee-Fense" . . . "T Him Up!" etc.
Getting that down and some great signage (LOVE the squirrel ideas! I REALLY hope someone is doing that) is plenty for us to handle right now.
(and some senior chants would be good - forget about the recruits this game, show the love to Nick Russell and Shawn Williams . . . this is about the existing family Wednesday night and who got us to where we are now).
