Weather postpones SMU-UCF women's basketball game

Tip Time For The Matchup In Moody Coliseum Is Still TBD

DALLAS (SMU) - The SMU-UCF women's basketball game that was scheduled for Monday at 7 p.m. in Moody Coliseum has been postponed. Due to inclement weather in the DFW area, SMU was unable to return home following Saturday’s game at USF. SMU (16-12, 7-10 American) and UCF (10-18, 3-14) are tentatively set to play in Dallas on Tuesday. The time for the game has yet to be determined. Thanks. Seems like interest in the women's team has been non-existent since they got blown out by UConn. Nothing is being posted anywhere and they are doing a good job. Hopefully, the men's program will help Rhonda generate some interest for her program as they need to click it up a level.

The SMU/UCF game now will be played at 10 AM Tuesday.

Tomorrow's game will be Senior Day, the final home game in the careers of Keena Mays, Akil Simpson, Korina Baker, Mallory Singleton and Krystal Johnson.

Agreed, it is crappy. But since the conference tournament begins Friday, every hour counts!

The team leaves Wednesday for the conference tournament, and they had to get the game in for seeding purposes.
