They almost lost their home game to Temple and Houston beat them last year. We may not play Kansas, but we do play the defending national champion.

My wife is a Badger, we've been watching a lot of their games, I don't know if we'd want to play them. Without having any data in front of me, they are a pretty good outside shooting team. Seems we have trouble when teams are on shooting. But that's probably true with everyone. Glad we are being taken notice of though . . .

As a coach, LB has always been content with the opposing team shooting jump shots. He would prefer for them to be contested obviously but it doesn't always work out that way when we collapse in the paint so well.

I'm up here working in this god forsaken Siberian cheese cooler (nice people, actually) and I've been following the badgers, and they 100% live and die by the three. If they're on, they can beat anybody. If they're off, they can lose to anybody. But they know me as the guy who comes in to watch SMU games, and a couple of people have congratulated me on our success.

Actually, they won at Temple, where we lost. I would avoid bringing that up if you are trying to make SMU look better than UT, not a bullet point in our favor.

How does a team collapse in the paint so well out of curiosity? I've never heard of that being a positive...you mean the team players good help D in the paint or digs on post touches or what?

I could have worded that better. Great help d and good enough on backside rotations that doubling in the paint doesn't kill us.

He should be THANKING us for having a good season. We are a quality win for them and they only have three (Two UK wins). Would like to play them again as I think the result would be different.

I got you. I do think that's going to be a crutch for the team in the tournament. SMU is built more as a traditional team, pound you inside and hit the 3 ball a decent amount. If they run into a hot shooting Creighton or Wisconsin though, it'll be a long night. Nic Moore doesn't add much on the defensive end unfortunately, too easy for guys to get their shot off.
