My mistake. I was talking about his brother the basketball player.

Mitchell is still recovering from an injury. We need to back off him until he is fully recovered. We are after several other very good players as well so no need to fret a lot about this one imo. We'll see though.
We are in on other good players that were 5*LB and #1 players on the state?

Mickey Mitchell tore his ACL. Not sure if Mike Mitchell has any injury history. I hope both are at SMU in 2015

Well, I doubt very seriously LB will back off of him. He looked like a total bad-[deleted] last week in the first action he has had since early in the season.
IMO, he will be an immediate game changer for any school that takes him.

I read on another site that the football brother is likely to either Baylor or tcu.

I have heard the same. I doubt the brother winds up here.

That sucks. The last two schools in the Universe that I would hope he attends.

Impressive restraint. UT and TCU are my two "I hope they just don't attend there" schools. Baylor is somewhere in there too, but they were so awful for so long that I haven't gotten around to hating them on the same level yet as the other two. :)

I could be wrong about this, but I thought to qualify for the hardship waiver you had to go to a school within 100 miles of home. Plano-to-Waco is 113 miles according to MapQuest

Since it is only a few miles difference they might except that. That is if the 100 miles radius stipulation even exists.

I'd rather Mike win a Heisman trophy as a LB at Baylor than ever suit up for TCU

Totally unrelated, but your comment gets me going this morning, East. I nearly had an aneurism yesterday when I saw that McCartneys sells TCU items. It's not much, a few trinkets here and there. But what has happened to this world when Redskins and Cowboys can get along and an SMU supplier sells purple crap from that stupid school in Fort Worth?

Bump.

Any whispers lately on Mickey Mitchell? his brother Mike? I would rather have him than any other recruit we are looking at. I am no expert obviously, but that is my wish.

There are a bunch of younger siblings too, all great athletes I bet.
