It may be lingering injury and 'mechanics', but the motion is not smooth. Maybe next year.

So SWC,

Who is our QB next year and what is your prognosis for that position and the team?

I can understand playing Eckert on the hopes that he has a hot hand. But Romo and CP IMO are so similar in style that I would rather develop Chris.

When was the last time any team that Allen Iverson played on won any championship of any kind? I think (and I could be wrong about this) that his high school team won the Virginia AAA championship. Allen is a great player, but the team he plays for never succeeds as a team. So, I think your Allen Iverson example is not a good one. Michael Vick might be a better example where his presence actually lifted the entire team to levels it could never have achieved without him. Additionally, from everything I have read MV is a team player, who trains hard, plays by the rules and listens to his coach. I hope that Chris Phillips turns into that player, and I suspect Coach Bennett knows a heck of a lot more than he is telling us. Coaches don't air anything bad about their players to others, and to his credit Coach Bennett is following that time honored tradition which in the long run buys a whole lot more goodwill than blasting a player publicly when explaining why he is not playing.
