MEASURING STICKS

Postby ALEX LIFESON » Sat Sep 10, 2005 12:59 pm

Coaches, players, and media said before the Baylor game, this would be a barometer to see which team had improved the most since 2003.
Baylor won the 2003 game by 3 points 10-7 in Waco.
Baylor had 182 yards total offense.
SMU had 204 total yards.

2005-Baylor wins by 5 points in Dallas.
Baylor has 415 total yards offense.
SMU has 270 total yards offense.

Let's look at the TCU series.
2002 TCU wins 17-6 in Ft. Worth.
2003 TCU wins 20-13 in Dallas.
2004 TCU wins in Ft. Worth 44-0, with 562 yards offense.
2005?
This is taking place while our recruiting is allegedly getting better, and TCU's was rumored to be going down a bit.
Second big "measuring stick" tonight!

I don't think we need "measuring sticks" if you are in the stands watching..
