Defense is the key

Postby EmeraldCityPony » Sat Sep 10, 2005 9:49 pm

If our defense plays this tough for 4 quarters every week then we have a chance to win a few games against our CUSA opponents. I like what I see...

Unfortunately, though, if history teaches us anything, we have about a quarter and a half of steam left at this point.

with this new found running game, we just might have a chance. I expect TCU to make some adjustments and for Gunn to settle down...but I'm loving these long drives and DeMyron Martin running wild. Looks like a legitimate talent. Sets up Romo well on the option, too.

Oh...and the offensice line looks like they are much better run blocking with a straight ahead, north and south attack.

It's just good to see the guys playing inspired football. They obviously bounced back well from the Baylor fiasco. If we lose, it will simply br because TCU is deeper than we are...but the gap is clearly closing.

The crowd on CSTV looks like there is a good SMU mix and not totally TCU am I seeing this correctly?

Another defensive stop. Our offense has to take advantage!
