Hmm, Say We Lose to Houston?

Are we still lock to make the big dance?

Our RPI is not rock solid, in fact if we lose three in a row with the last one being to Houston, we will plummet even further.

I am not saying we won't make it, but Houston is important, we lose 3 in a row, including Houston, I think we are back on the bubble and better hope there are not some major upsets in conference tourneys.

There are a lot of big name programs on the bubble the committee would LOVE to put in ahead of SMU.

Need to beat Houston, then all is well. If we lose, prepare for some nail biting come next Sunday.

Yes, we go because if nothing else the committee has respect for LB and what he has done here if nothing else. We would probably go as a 12 seed.

12 seed is almost as bad as not making the tourny. We don't want a play in game. I want us on the bracket o'64

Just hope we can avoid a play in game. Hopefully this thread means nothing, beat Houston, then take our chances with playing highly ranked teams, all is well.

Lose three in a row, including +100 RPI Houston, I think we are on the fringe and if some crazy things happen in conference tourneys, they may find a reason to shut us out.

This thread is how I know I'm an smu fan.
We are on the ledge. Is anyone going to be surprised if we lose to uofh and go to the nit? Worst case scenario and smu are not exactly unthinkable. That said, I think we may beat uofh. Maybe. Who knows. Gotta stay positive I guess.

Lol, didn't that Utah team go to the NCAA finals and lose to Kentucky? Not like they were exactly a slouch that SMU should've beat in the first place.
