Duke coping SMU with celebs

We are in a recruiting war with Duke and they are letting us know it. Turner is sitting behind the Duke bench with Goodell and other not to far away. Forget those copy cat's at Duke. I hope we beat them out for Tuner.

I think SMU has hooked Romo and Garrett on the Moody experience. They know that Cameron experience is a cool thing too. Good for them for embracing both.

Has nothing to do with them embracing both imo. I am sure that hey did not just decide to go there out of nowhere. Coach K probably invited them there since he saw us get major pub for being the place to be and he has Myles Tuner there. This was more Duke planning that them just deciding to go imo. This is a full on recruiting battle.

Who knows, maybe so...But I don't blame them, these crazy games are a blast. They like having a good time. And they certainly don't mind being seen. We will have them back for more than out share next season.

Point is that we are fighting for Tuner now. Not worried about if they come next season. They aren't doing it to play nice. They are doing it to get Tuner out of our backyard. This has nothing to do with them having a good time it has to do with hard care legal recruiting tactics. They are trying to neutralize our edge. Get ready because it look like we will be going against those stuck up dukies for a while in recruiting.

When have you ever seen Garrett, Romo. Goodell, Tubbs, and Switzer all at a hoops game? Please are we that naive. Duke is trying to neutralize the celebrity effect that SMU has for Tuner's services. The main reason LB started getting high profile people to come to the games is for recruiting not just for the fun of it. I am wondering what Turner tweets out after the game.

Doesn't matter what you think. The truth is that we are in a recruiting battle with Duke and Kansas for Turner. This is a big time recruiting battle that some have not seen for a while and are not accustom to seeing. Glad we are in the fight.

There is no thinking regarding the recruiting battle we are in because it is reality. Not trying to be combative with you just stating facts. Recruits notice when celebs show up, All recruits have noted when we have had them at SMU. We have an NFL owner at a game and they have the NFL commissioner at a game. In recruiting every little edge helps. I hope we get Turner.
