Can SMU learn Louisville's pressure defense?

I like man to man defense, but sometimes we need to switch it up during the game in order to fuel transition offense.

Louisville's defense is looking good in the Rutgers game.

Next season, yes. But what about next week? I agree with the OP - switching up the D from time to time would be good - at least have something different that would adjust to a situation that seems to be getting out of hand or create a little uncertainty and more fast-break opportunities. Plus, we just need to make our free throws. Granted, they did even worse than we did today, but if you're virtually even in rebounds and turnovers but have a deficit in shooting percentage because you're getting fouled on the way to the rim, you gotta make those free throws.
Don't worry. Be Happy. Or not.
