...or we could take an opposite, yet still aggressive approach - pack the stadium, and make sure we all carry "Fire June" signs to display in all seating areas, and (cross our fingers) hopefully on TV.

If they want to throw us all out of Ford for these signs, then they can have that empty stadium...a win-win for us, right? Should get the attention of the powers that be, either way...

Is that a picture of our QB running to the sideline for a play in the tcu game?

Please, far from combative. You threw up a softball I had to swing. I unfortunately have plenty of frog friends and family.

Cool...all good then. I was just playing along with the tenor of the thread. I have been pushing to dump June since the ASU debacle. As a tcu fan, I wish he would stick around but for smu fans, he should have been canned a couple years ago. I am afraid he is staying for the near future at a minimum.

I didn't know we had so many fans of Mexican tele-novellas. Drama much?

Protesting not firing a coach that the school doesn't pay for? No one complained when he got an extension in 2010 (?), so we are supposed to fire a guy mid contract because we don't think the players he recruits are good enough? I have questions about the approach to recruiting but from my seats I saw a team lose only one conference game by more than 4 points, and that game was the baptism of a new QB. You just have to look at the UCF game to know that NB is going to do a good job next year.

There are things in life to get upset about but this is far from the end of the world. Quit whining and support the kids.

Wait until the kids with talent and more than a year of eligibility left see what's going on and start heading for the exits. It's coming.

Idea of the century:
Instead of playing the game next season, perhaps we could put the two coaches at midfield with a table full of pot roast. Whichever coach can eat the largest percentage of their individual body weight gets credit for the victory. This handicaps the original weigh in, so it is fair. All of the players get the weekend off and the "gluttony bowl" goes down in infamy.

Think of the promotions and merchandising. Little pot roast keychains! Floral MuMus in school colors! Just imagine the coverage on ESPN! Two Texas schools canceling a football game for a competitive eating contest would be the sports story of the decade. You cannot buy advertising like this.
