Whitt, chagois is going to be a good player, Douglas is going to be a good player, landrum I think is going to be a good player.Junior wrote:But who did we add of value?Pony ^ wrote:this is what we expected losing 3 NBA players and half a roster of freshmen. It's a rebuild year.
Our current team has 2nba players out with injuries.

Valiant effort. They deserve credit for that. But we are a middling NIT team until Further notice

I am pretty sure we will drop basketball after Shake leaves.Rebel10 wrote:Wonder if people will be saying it’s a rebuild year whenever Shake leaves. Or will the team even recover.

Re: Tulsa game thread
Replacing Shake and Ben Emelogu will not be easy but definitely doable. Especially considering we have several guards on the roster. Replacing Semi and Sterling and Ben Moore was a much bigger ask and we really didn’t have anyone on the roster to step in their place. We’ll be better next season with Jarrey back, more continuity, maturity, and Mike will give us a new dimension.Rebel10 wrote:Wonder if people will be saying it’s a rebuild year whenever Shake leaves. Oh okay. And to think I was hoping the team would not fall into middle of the road mid major status.mrydel wrote:I am pretty sure we will drop basketball after Shake leaves.Rebel10 wrote:Wonder if people will be saying it’s a rebuild year whenever Shake leaves. Or will the team even recover.

When people are complaining and think the sky is falling during a year where you put 3 guys into the nba, only had 3 returning players, and injury problems, and you are still likely a high NIT team, you are approaching Aggie delusion levels except with the lack of,cultish loyalty.

I think it’s gotta already be in his head. He can’t buy one.... even a layup.
Jeez how frustrating.

Re: Tulsa game thread
I think Tulsa's win tonight gives them a really good chance of sneaking into the 4th spot because they have a really easy schedule from here on out compared to what we are facing
Re: Tulsa game thread
I don’t think anyone is complaining. Just trying not to live in fantasy land about the upcoming years without Shake. Not necessarily talking about this year. Delusional would be expecting NCAA tournament runs with no tangible proof of development.Pony_Law wrote:When people are complaining and think the sky is falling during a year where you put 3 guys into the nba, only had 3 returning players, and injury problems, and you are still likely a high NIT team, you are approaching Aggie delusion levels except with the lack of,cultish loyalty.

We don't have a lot of experience with winning or having a team that other teams actually get up for when our guys come to town
