Although the computers and Las Vegas say we are the favorites I definitely see Tulsa as a big favorite in a close game. This is pretty much a do or die game for SMU's NCAA at large hopes so I hope our guys play one of their best games of the season.

I think there are five games remaining we absolutely can not lose if we want an at-large bid:

Tonight at Tulsa, Memphis at home, at ECU, at USF, and the first game of the AAC tournament.

Also, I think we have to at least split with Houston. I don’t think it matters which one we win but we can’t lose both to them.

SMU has won ONE true road game and is playing with a depleted roster. We win this game outright!

this game is the super bowl for me. Payback against USC Milton and 2 other Tulsans. OU Homer Emig makes Milton out to be hero in the World today - puke worthy.

I didn't like the focus on recruiting between OU and SMU (although I recall that was Milton's finalists), as if Milton was too good to be at SMU but should have gone to the MECCA of college basketball (which is an empty Lloyd Noble except for OSU and KU or when there is a surprise superstar frosh).

The article should have been about the game first, secondarily about Milton. I still want a USC chant when he is introduced.

I think McMurray and Chargois are the keys throughout the remainder of the season. If one of them plays really well we usually get enough from Shake, Gu and Whitt to win. Mainly McMurray though. We are 6-0 when McMurray has 10+ points and 1-4 when he is under 10 Points. We have to have him playing well to win most games.
