Hmm... Against Big XII competition, Mosley has a 100 yard game and averages 4.6 yards per carry, playing in a backup role, starting only the last game of the year. He ended the year with 582 yards and 4 TDs. 6'3" 235 pounds, 4.5 40. Backup is Brandon Whitaker who runs a 4.4 40 and is up to
Your leading rusher was your backup QB. Dorsey ran for 431 with 2 TDs in 11 games and Massey ran for 16 yards and 0 TDs in 9 games. Noone on your team carried more than 100 times for the year.
Not sure where your confidence for the RB position is coming from.

We have an All-Big XII WR in Zeigler, someone the publishers of the Big XII Rivals site said was the 4th best receiver in the conference, and a ton of depth. We have Teasley (4.38 in 40), Sims (super athletic), and Mikhail Baker (4.40 40) that are freshmen who are pushing for time in the corps. The fact that Gettis isn't with the team hurts, but there's no way that this position is a push with SMUs.

Big joke here.
Offensive Line
You're starting a true freshman due to injuries last I heard, and your backups include former defensive linemen. Phil Steele says that our line will be one of the most improved units in the nation, and CFN.com rates the unit a 5.5 and Baylor's a 7.
Defensive Line
Again, one of our most improved positions. CFN.com rates your line a 5.0 and ours a 6.0. DLine is definitely the weakest part of our defense, but there are a ton of young players that are stepping up big time and should see a lot of playing time, enough so that TRFR Trey Bryant (3* DT, 34th best in the nation) should be able to redshirt.
ThadFilms wrote:-That leaves the linebackers and defensive secondary… I think we all know that Bennett can do a hell of a lot with a defense, that’s healthy.
Why? What's he done? Your linebackers are undersized and your secondary is slow. We have what is widely recognized as the best safety tandem in the Big XII in Willie Andrews and Mo Lane, and we have a solid corps of cornerbacks. The secondary is the strongest position group on our team, which is saying something since it is ahead of our RBs which is very solid.
Our linebackers won't have the experienced depth we had last year, but they are much more athletic. We are starting a senior and a RSSO at LB, with another SR and RSFR after that. The athleticism of this position has taken a big step forward.

Is it still home field advantage if we outnumber you? What if it's a 1-to-1 ratio? Many of our players come from the DFW area, and it's Baptist Church Night. You don't get a much friendlier away game, if you ask me.
ThadFilms wrote:-Most importantly: Phil would beat that guy Guy in a stare down. Hell Phil would beat anybody; you just can’t compete with the 'stache.
Guy Morriss played offensive line in the NFL for 14 years. I hope Bennett behaves himself better than he did against Tech, or he's liable to be buried at Ford Stadium. Immediately upon reaching Morriss.
