The comic book, the movie (original with Adam West & Burt Ward or the Tim Burton version with Michael Keaton?) or any of the sequels ("Batman Returns", "Batman Forever" or "Batman & Robin") or the latest - and BEST! - "Batman Begins"?

Pretty sure Jack Nicholson as the Joker said the same thing.
Can't wait to wipe that stupid grin off the Houston fans' faces!
Rack me!
You see what I did there? I tied the Batman thing into football to make it relevant. Wow. I am pretty clever.

Sorry, blog. Here's what was said (
www.imdb.com):
Vicki Vale: Mr. Joker, you make such beautiful things, ohh, you're so powerful, and PURPLE ohh I love purple.
Batman: Excuse me.
[Joker looks]
Batman: Have you ever danced with the devil by the pale moon light?
[Punches him]
Batman: I'm going to kill you!
The Joker: You IDIOT! You made me. Remember, you dropped me into that vat of chemicals. That wasn't easy to get over, and don't think that I didn't try.
Batman: I know you did.
[Punches him]
Earlier in the movie, The Joker - played by Jack Nicholson - said:
The Joker: Tell me something, my friend. You ever dance with the devil by the pale moonlight?

My mistake, it is from Batman Returns. Danny DeVito as the Penguin.
Batman: You're not the mayor.
The Penguin: Things change.
Batman: What do you want?
The Penguin: Ah, the direct approach. I admire that from a man with a mask.
[laughs, then turns serious]
The Penguin: You don't really think you'll win, do you?
Batman: Things change.

The real question is whether anyone will show up to watch. I see UH had 15,119 to see that juggernaut against one of CUSA's better programs yesterday. Another classic battle of SWC cast-offs, but I'm not complaining. I'd rather be playing Houston than Nevada or San Jose St.
And yes, this game means a lot to SMU because we haven't won 4 games in a single season in ...well, I'm not sure how long it's been. We still have a shot at that Texas Collegiate I-A Division II whatever trophy that all those T-shirts around town are advertising. It's all about braggin rights!! Hope you guys have enough seats in that stadium of yours because word is spreading about just how big an event this really is.

Stallion wrote:...."don't have much to play for at this point"-boy is he uninformed!!!! We are playing for the 2005 Texas State 1A II Championship. You may never know what hit you as Mustang Mania is once again SWEEPING the state. Do you have mechanical goal-posts because otherwise they are coming down. Win this one and SMU plays UTEP for ALL the marbles. SMU hasn't beaten TCU and Rice in the same year in 19 years and now we are going all the way BABY.
Dang, Stallion, you got me excited.
Listen, Coog, you are going down. Mustangs kick the kittens. Overlook this team, ala TCU and UAB, and we may beat you by double digits.
Its true, our goal is Div. Two (1-A)

Once the other schools realize that the stealth mustangs are about to sweep the Texas Div. II 1-A title, they will wish they had prepared better to play the champs to be. UH will be hung over from upsetting USM and will never see what hits them. Coogs go down. Remember 1989 and extract our revenge one more time.

SMU's record masks the team’s true caliber. We are better on defense. We are getting pressure on QBs which is something not seen on the Hilltop for a while. We have an emerging star in the secondary in Sturdivant. If we have a little more discipline on D, (D end maintain containment, secondary stays in coverage) then we will give Houston more than they can handle.
We are vastly improved on offense. Though we have had our share of mental mistakes, we are no longer a guarantee to turnover the ball at all times. This alone has changed the caliber of our team. We are capable of running the ball and for once can throw the ball down the field. Our O line is better and doesn't blow as many blocking assignments as years past. We can be a very consistent offensive team.
We are much improved in the kicking game. That includes improvement from earlier this season. We still have a punter that enjoys waiting on the ball before starting his kicking motion and that has left us very susceptible to punt blocks. U of H has an advantage there.
SMU plays solid discipline defense and consistent offense without a rash of turnovers, then SMU wins. We have enough talent and experience to beat anyone in CUSA.

Are you on the right board? This is an SMU board. We have the 108th ranked offense in the country; the 103rd ranked scoring offense; the 93rd ranked passing offense; and the 88th ranked rushing offense.

All BS aside I think Houston gambled and got one of the best coaches around the state. The safe choice is not always the best choice.
Is Shasta the Coog still around or have the PETA wackos made you use a housecat. I always thought that was one of the better mascots.

And Houston's net punting is worst in the country so I do not think Houston has the edge there.
Stop UH bowl bid

I like the incentive of stopping UH from becoming bowl eligible The Coogs should worry about which SMU team will show up - the one with an occasionally effective passing attack or the brain dead offense that can lose a game to Little Flower Academy. Maybe Bennet will show out to make a good impression on the KSU search committee. Whatever happens, few will know about it at game time.
