Well actually it's been proven they don't even have to win District to win State.. :wink:

Yes but you do have to make the playoffs to win State. :lol:

Not necessarily. Last year there was a 3A team who got fourth in their district, but the district champ had to forfeit all their games due to an ineligible player. That team that got fourth then was allowed to play in the playoffs (even though, on the field, they didn't make the playoffs), and had they won their games, would have won state.

Well we won't have to worry about that next year cause if Lee gets 4th place then they're automatically going to the playoffs with this freakin 4 team to the playoff rule now.

Oooo I won't even start on the 4 team playoff rule. But I will say that I'm glad it hasn't been implemented in 4A yet.

It's bad enough when some districts are sending 2-8 teams to the playoffs in the 3 team system.
