This is how it always goes. The big programs like Texas and LSU, etc., load up with a lot of early commitments, and then schools like SMU fill in around those. Nothing new this year.

Baylor has 26 already and UH has about 21 already. I believe Rice has 13 and reportedly will only take 16. BTW Rivals is not up to date on some of these commitments-I'm getting these from these schools websites.

Didn't UTEP have something like 23?

actually Rivals now has them at 27-I think they must have picked up a few last weekend.
