I don't want this to happen b/c it means we have a bad season this year, but you can bet your sweet [deleted] that were SMU to ditch Bennett and offer Dodge, he'd be outta greenland so fast it would make their heads spin.

It must be nice living in dreamland! The rumor is SMU had preliminary discussions with Dodge and he was NOT interested, but....that was just a rumor, so carry on with your wishful thinking.

Yeah, I say that to every headhunter who comes my way...actually, the way it works is "...I am happy where I am...but tell me about the job...."
Somehow, that becomes twisted into "...NOT interested...."

Whatever, Skippy. If he had contemplated SMU, I am pretty confidant I'd have heard about it. After all, his parents live here as well as other close family. They are definitely very close to the vest with stuff about him, but it's a small town, and I bleed red and blue rather publicly. And his dad is the Paster Emeritus at 1st Methodist here. I'd think one of them would get a friendly dig in with me on the matter if your "rumor" was true.

BTW, it's Camp WONDERLAND, not "dreamland". "Dreamland" presumes that it's not real. It's all real. It's just not "everyday green".

Off to the midnite showing of Harry Potter...hope this one is not too dark.

It's been a while since I read the book, but wasn't it fairly dark? I don't think the series has gotten more light-hearted the further it has gone. Still good though.

Nice. Since when does bankruptcy equate to being a "successful businessman throughout the state of Texas"?

He (Jamario) went for 90 yards and a TD.

It WAS on 25 carries though...so that's 3.6 a carry.

Don't know if this is your definition of "did not do jack" or not but I'd call it adequate.

Included two longer (15-25 yard) runs in the waning minutes of Q4.
The score was not indicative of the prowess of NTSU...rather the lack of said vis-a-vis SMU.

Uhhhhh, nope. His long FOR THE GAME was 14. Try again.

Do we really need buses to get to the stadium? It really isn't that far to the stadium.

haha true but the team always stays in a hotel the night before and busses over to Ford about 2-3 hours before game time
