It makes no sense why a kid that could get a free ride as a child of a coach would take the scholarship. All joking aside, that very well could disqualify him from taking things from dad.

Saw Jordan play a few times last year and saw him at the smu camp this summer. He can really run, about 4.5 speed..

Stats from last year (not exact though)

35-40 catches for 450-500 yds..

PS: he was the 4th leading receiver w/ those stats and his QB from last fall is a walk on right now..

Who was his QB? I've heard we have walk-on QBs named Miller and Moore, but I have no idea who either of them is — first name, HS, stats — nada.

The ex-Pearce QB who is a freshman walk-on this year is not named Moore. His name is Michael Morse. And Gush caught 7 for 59 last night in a win over WT White.

Absolutely not. Name doesn't work. The next American Hero at SMU will undobutedly be Rock Dennis. You may recall he was introduced in Zack Sledge American Hero, Series 2 Issue 6, as a special forces squad leader under Zack Sledge's command in the jungles inland from the Mekong Delta just before the fall of Saigon. He successfully led his squad against an full company of VC forces and was credited for saving an entire village of innocent civilian refugees while being captured for his trouble. Of course, in Issue 7 the American Hero springs him from that hell....

Thad really needs to option this stuff for the big screen.

Heck yeah I do..... I smell Oscar.
