WR from Richardson (Pearce). Yes, he's Coach Gush's son. Supposed to be pretty good according to a friend who has seen Pearce play Berkner a couple of times. His picture on Rivals looks like he's heavier than that.

It is my understanding it counts as a walk on. I do not know how a walk on counts against the limit.
I know that's how the university treats them - I'm a son of a faculty member-but the NCAA has special rules redesignating certain classifications of players as counting against scholarship limits.

If I remember correctly, Mick Rossley was a full scholarship guy, and I hear Jordan Gush has been offered that, as well. Mike Dement, Jr., and Sam Bennett, I believe, were walk-ons. Why they differentiate between the two, I'm not sure.
I've seen Jordan play twice. I didn't realize he was that fast, but he is elusive, losing defenders with very sharp breaks, and seems to have fantastic hands, from what I could tell. He caught everything near him, as I recall, in the games I saw. I also remember seeing him make a really nice one-handed catch in warm-ups, for whatever that's worth. This guy can really catch the ball.

Absolutely not. Name doesn't work. The next American Hero at SMU will undobutedly be Rock Dennis. You may recall he was introduced in Zack Sledge American Hero, Series 2 Issue 6, as a special forces squad leader under Zack Sledge's command in the jungles inland from the Mekong Delta just before the fall of Saigon. He successfully led his squad against an full company of VC forces and was credited for saving an entire village of innocent civilian refugees while being captured for his trouble. Of course, in Issue 7 the American Hero springs him from that hell....
Thad really needs to option this stuff for the big screen.
