We expect better from you in 2008.

I will do better... it is a combination of the [deleted] whip that is this coaching searching, the bronchitis, sinus infection, and lack of sleep. 2008 is going to be the year of the Mustangs and we will all be in a much happier place.

Put down the Nyquil.

As per Dave Campbell's Texas Football, ex-Brownwood HS star
Kirby Freeman, has gained his release from the Univ of Miami
and will enroll at Baylor in January. Freeman started the 2007
season for the 'Canes.
New Baylor HFC Art Briles had nothing to do with
Freeman wanting to transfer to Baylor. Yeah, right!

I would guess that he didnt have anything to do with it since, as Mrydel pointed out, he is a junior and would only have one year of eligibility left and to go to baylor he would lose that last year

MustangMan2001 is very possibly correct about this kid, along with CharlieNT73. Seems that Baylor is applying for immediate eligiblity due to Miami not offering the Graduate degree that Freeman wants. (See Dez Willingham). Baylor is petitioning for the immeditate eligibilty. If unsuccessful Freeman will go to a lower classification school.

I thought the NCAA closed the graduate school loophole starting this year?

It is a "classes in requested major not available", not a "he has graduated and now can transfer with no loss of eligbility" thing. The later is what they did away with. The first is a petitionable situation. This is what Dez did and similar (although not graduate) to Elize.
